10 Wedding Products That Are ACTUALLY Worth It.

So I'm not going to ignore the fact that there are already a lot of things you're going to buy if you're planning a wedding.

And when you go online, you'll quickly discover that there are even more things people think you should buy.

And yes ...I'm about to add another list to that.

.

.

.

But in my defensešŸ’—, these are products that I actually think are worth it.

A lot of the stuff I've seen online feels unnecessary, but these are the little things I genuinely think can make planning your wedding easier and also make your wedding day go a little smoother.

So if you're looking for a no-BS list of wedding products that can actually help you ...let's get into it.

1. A Getting-Ready Outfit You Feel Really Good In.

Not just for cute pictures.

I mean something that makes you feel comfortable, pretty, and like yourself.

Because you're going to be wearing it for hours... while eating, laughing, getting your makeup done, taking pictures etc.

So if you're adjusting it every five minutes, feeling exposed or uncomfortable ...it's going to affect your mood.

.

.

.

But when you genuinely feel good in what you're wearing, you relax more.

You smile more.

And you enjoy the morning more.

That's why I say get a getting-ready outfit that you actually like.

Not just because it's what everyone else is wearing.

The only real requirement is that it's something you don't have to pull over your head later and mess up your hair or makeup.

So think button-down pajamas, a robe, a pajama dress, a matching lounge set etc.

2. Comfortable (Backup) Shoes.

Now ideally,

I would actually prefer that you find one pair of wedding shoes that you can comfortably wear throughout your entire wedding day.

That would be the dream.

But let's be honest ...it's not always easy to find shoes that are both really cute and really comfortable at the same time.

And even when they are comfortable, some you guys might still not want to spend an entire day standing, walking around, greeting guests, and dancing ...in heels.

---

So when I say get a comfortable backup pair of shoes, I'm not saying you should sacrifice your ceremony look or your wedding photos.

Wear the pretty heels.

But once the ceremony is over, the photos are done, and you're moving around a lot more ...it's nice to have another option waiting for you.

3. Anything That Reduces Decision Fatigue.

I call this the silent killer of wedding planning.

When you constantly feel like you have so many decisions to make, and you don't know where to start, and you feel like time is running out... it gets very stressful.

And that's basically what wedding planning is.

There are so many decisions, and sometimes you don't even have the time to sit down and properly think through all of them.

That's why, in my opinion, anything that simplifies your decisions is

1 million percent worth it.

If that means hiring a full-on wedding planner or buying a wedding planning book, or getting spreadsheets.

Anything that helps simplify things and makes your life easier... get it.

Because you don't want to drain yourself doing everything from scratch.

There's no trophy for that.

4. Portable Phone Charger (Power Bank)

Your phone is basically your communication tool, your camera backup, your emergency line, and your coordinator tool all in one.

You don't realize how much you rely on it until it's gone.

And the thing is, you might not always have access to somewhere convenient to charge your phone.

Or maybe there is somewhere to charge it, but you don't feel comfortable leaving your phone there unattended.

That's why having a portable power bank is really helpful.

.

.

.

You can charge your phone whenever you need to without having to go looking for an outlet or worrying about your battery dying at the worst possible time.

It's one of those things that seems small, but it's so nice to have when you need it.

5. Steam Iron or Garment Steamer

If you don't already have one at home that you use for your clothes, this can be a really helpful thing to have.

Wrinkled dresses and outfits affect photos more than people realize.

When your clothes are nicely steamed and looking smooth, everything just looks more intentional.

It doesn't look like you just pulled it out of a bag and threw it on.

And I'm not just talking about your wedding dress.

I'm talking about the groom's suit, bridesmaids' dresses, getting-ready outfits... basically everything.

.

.

.

Even if your dress and outfits were already ironed before, things can still get wrinkled while being transported.

So this is really one of those "just in case" purchases.

Hopefully you won't need it, but if you do ...you'll be very glad you have it.

6. A High-Quality Bridal Bouquet

And when I say high-quality, I don't necessarily mean bigger.

I just mean better made.

Your bouquet is going to be in so many photos throughout your wedding day, especially during your ceremony.

So it's one of those things that's constantly in your hands, so if it looks cheap or poorly arranged, it will show.

A well-done bouquet just elevates your entire bridal look without you having to do anything else.

I know florals can be pretty pricey, but this is one thing that I personally think is worth the splurge.

A really good bridal bouquet can make such a difference.

7. Wireless All-in-One Printer.

This one is especially helpful if you're planning your wedding yourself and doing any DIY wedding projects.

Things like signs, invitations, place cards, seating charts, welcome signs, checklists, timelines ...all those little things can add up quickly.

And while you can always go somewhere to print them, having a printer at home is just so much more convenient.

Need to print something last minute?

Done.

Need to make a small change and reprint it?

Done.

Need an extra copy of something?

Done.

Forgot something and need it printed the night before?

Done.

.

.

.

Doesn't sound exciting, but it can save you a surprising amount of time and hassle.

8. Portable Fan (Preferably Rechargeable).

This one is really underrated.

Weddings get hot, especially if you're having your wedding during the summer.

And your hair, makeup, dancing, emotions, and just being around a lot of people all day ...will add to that heat.

That's why having a small portable fan can be such a lifesaver.

It can help keep you from sweating through your makeup or being uncomfortable during photos.

.

.

.

And as someone who sweats a lot, I can't imagine not having one.

Unless it's winter... that's probably the only time I wouldn't recommend it.

I might even recommend it for fall ...tbh.

But on a serious note, I really think it's worth it.

9. High-Quality Bridal Undergarments.

Not just ā€œnice lingerieā€.

I mean structured, properly fitted undergarments designed for long wear.

Because when you think about wedding dresses.

They look magical.

They look beautiful.

But they're not always comfortable or practical on their own.

And when you're wearing the wrong undergarments underneath, it just makes everything worse.

You're constantly adjusting things.

Straps are sliding.

You're not getting enough support.

Sometimes ...you can even see visible lines through your dress in photos.

.

.

.

And that's why good undergarments are so important.

When they're right, everything just fits properly.

Your dress sits better.

Your posture improves.

Your confidence improves.

Even the way you walk changes because you're not distracted by discomfort all day.

10. Heel Cushions

This is the lfinal one and it's equally as important.

A lot of new shoes almost always create pressure points, especially if you're wearing them for hours.

That's why I think these heel cushions or blister prevention pads are worth it.

They help prevent blisters, reduce pain, and just make it easier to walk and dance comfortably throughout the day.

.

.

.

This is especially helpful if you're planning to wear your heels for most of your wedding day.

And if you're not getting a comfortable backup pair of shoes like I mentioned earlier, I would definitely recommend getting these.

They're also really inexpensive, which is another reason I like them.

To Wrap it up...

So yeah, these are the 10 things that I actually feel are worth it.

The nice thing is that all of them are pretty simple and not complicated.

Hopefully you found something here that you'll want to add to your own wedding plans.

And yeah... I'll see you in my other blog posts.
